Nancy Potter joined Olathe Animal Hospital in 1991. As the practice manager, she is in charge of finances, administrative duties, and quality care. Nancy serves on the editorial advisory board of Firstline Magazine, a national publication for veterinary professionals. Nancy has an adopted schnoodle, a papillon, and a 13 year old African Grey Parrot who likes to boss the dogs around! She also has 3 grown children, and 2 grandsons. In her spare time, Nancy enjoys gardening, and vacationing at the beach. She has a special interest in the human/animal bond, and the rewards being a pet owner brings. |

Karla Capper, R.V.T., has been at OAH since 1998. She graduated from the MWCC Veterinary Technician Program in 1992, and has worked in veterinary medicine since 1989. Karla's son and daughter have a rotating menagerie of fish, frogs and bugs. Her special interest is in client education, making sure they have the information they need to take good care of their pets. |

Kenzi Hardy, R.V.T. joined OAH in September 2004. She graduated from Brigham Young University in 2002 with a Bachelor of Science. She's a Registered Veterinary Technician and is in charge of our Radiology Department. She and her husband, Brandon, have a baby son, Tyler, and live with 1 dog, a leonberger, Dryfus, and 2 cats, Blazer and Hobbs. In her free time she likes horseback riding, scrapbooking and playing soccer. |

Peggy Gregg, R.V.T. has been at OAH since December 2003. She graduated from Bel-Rea Institute of Animal Technology in 2003 with an Associate of Applied Science. She is a Registered Veterinary Technician in charge of our Laboratory and Retail Center with a special interest in dentistry. She lives with her 3 cats, Maggie, Dobby and Taz, and dog-Breeanna. In her spare time she enjoys latch hook, reading and going to the movies. |

Emily Warne, R.V.T. joined OAH in March of 2006. She graduated from the Maple Woods Vet Tech program in May of 2006. She also holds a BA in Public Relations from Mount Mercy College in Cedar Rapids, IA. She and her husband, Daniel, have 2 dogs: an English mastiff, Satchel, and a lab mix, Bella. They also have 2 cats, Charlie and Kitty. In her spare time Emily enjoys playing sports like volleyball and basketball. She also is a huge college basketball fan and especially enjoys cheering for the Iowa Hawkeyes and Kansas Jayhawks. |

Cindy Locke has worked at OAH since June 1997. She started as a Kennel Attendant and has completed extensive training to become a Veterinary Technician with a special interest in dentistry. She also manages the inpatient area. She lives with her husband, Jason,daughter, Kayla, and has three dogs and a cat at home. Her hobbies include gardening and bird watching. |

Anthony Carrier joined OAH in 2001 as a kennel attendant when he was a senior in high school. He is now a veterinary assistant and is currently attending KSU and hopes to come back as a veterinarian! Anthony currently returns on winter and summer breaks to help out. Anthony has 2 dogs, Rusty and Wilson, and three snakes. He enjoys going to the park with his dogs, and also enjoys sports and movies. |

Jessi Whitham has been at OAH since August 2001. She started as the Kennel Manager and now she is a Veterinary Assistant in charge of surgical preparation. Her main goal at the hospital is to help any human or animal whose life will improve by giving them attention and care as needed. Jessi and her husband, Shane, enjoy working around their house, spending quality time with their family and friends and taking their dogs, Barley and Sammy, to the park and on long walks. |

Rachel Weber joined OAH in May, 2006 as a bather. She also assists in the kennel and is a veterinary assistant. When not at OAH, Rachel attends JCCC and takes care of her bulldog, Frida, and numerous cats. Rachel has welcomed the opportunity to work in the veterinary field and is always willing to lend a hand wherever needed. |

Casey Fair joined OAH in April 2007 and works as an Outpatient Assistant to the Doctors and Technicians. She shares her home with her son Benjamin, her 2 cats, Baby Kitty and Big Boy, her dog Sydney, and Buster the rabbit. She has loved animals since she was a little girl, always bringing home new pets- from frogs and turtles found outside to stray cats. In her spare time she likes to be silly with her son, spend time with family and friends as well as spend time outdoors. And during the football season you will always find her on Sunday watching Chiefs football. |

Kathy Reiber joined OAH in August of 2005. Kathy has worked in the animal care industry for 19 years. Kathy shares her home with her husband, Ron, and 3 champion bull terriers and 1 rescue bull terrier. She is also the proud owner of a champion friesian horse, and enjoys exhibiting her horse and dogs in her spare time. |

Elaine VanGorden joined OAH in January, 2000. She attended Pittsburg State University and holds bachelor degrees in social work and psychology. We refer to Elaine as our "Rescue Queen" because of all the stray and unwanted animals she has placed in new homes. Elaine lives in Overland Park with her two children, Ellie and Jackson. She also shares her home with two cats, a guinea pig and a bearded dragon. |

Lori Flores works as a receptionist and has been with OAH since April 2004, after her husband, Eric, transferred here from Wichita with UPS. She has a son, Jacob and a daughter, Jadyn. Lori also shares her home with 2 dogs, a goldendoodle and a mastiff that takes up the entire bed, a cat, 2 snakes and 4 feathered kids that include an eclectus parrot, a rose breasted cockatoo and 2 cockatiels. When not at work, she spends her time chasing her kids to multiple sporting events and keeping house. Lori thoroughly enjoys bird keeping as a hobby as well as shopping for all her furry and feathered kids. |

Chasadee Shelby joined OAH in August of 2007 as a customer service specialist. She is a student at JCCC. Chasadee has lived in Shawnee, KS all her life. She loves to fill her spare time with reading, and going to the park. She lives at home with her cat, Gabbi. |

Brandy Hestand, groomer, joined OAH in November 2006. Brandy has been grooming since 2000. As an advocate of animal rights and rescue, she is a volunteer for Second Chance Pet Adoptions of Kansas City and the Lawrence Humane Society. She shares her home with three dogs, two cats, two rats and two parakeets. Brandy is an incredibly patient and gentle groomer who believes all animals deserve consistent kindness and understanding. |

Matt Tomlinson joined Olathe Animal Hospital in June of 2006 as a kennel attendant. Matt attends ONHS and has an interest in photojournalism. When not attending the pets here at OAH, Matt enjoys holding movie nights with friends and eating all the Mexican food he can get! Matt's pets include two dogs, miniature schnauzers named Harley and Bogart. |

Christie Deaver has been working at OAH since July of 2003 as a Kennel Attendant. After graduating from Olathe East in the spring, she will be attending K-State to pursue her interests in veterinary medicine. Christie lives at home with her parents, two sisters, and three dogs. |

Julianna Hegner joined OAH in November, 2004, as a kennel attendant. She is currently attending JCCC with plans to become a registered veterinary technician and loves working with animals. In her spare time, she enjoys horseback riding, reading, and playing with her dog, Cassie, and her guinea pigs, Lambie and Scamper. |

Samantha Parrish returned to Olathe Animal Hospital after a 6 year hiatus to attend to her human children. She also shares her home with her husband, a maltese, 2 birds, and 3 cats. In her spare time, she enjoys camping, fishing and canoeing. |
